I love the painted cement floors. I have recently painted sheets to make a duvet - not a fun project, but great results! http://americansewingguild.blogspot.com/2012/06/doodle-duvet-pin-spired-tutorial.html
So smart! I think it's great to redo and save a well runned but ugly appliance.
We painted the vinyl floors, wood grained it actually, then sealed it. Worked really well, lasted under hard use and lots of mopping for about 5 years before we moved....
I would like to know how to paint my mobile home walls. They look like wall paper on sheetrock, or vinyl on sheetrock. I have been told that paint would not adhere to the wall. If anyone has an idea please blog it
Sorry, I don't have an answer for you but I did post your question on my facebook wall. Hopefully on of my readers will be able to give you an answer. https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-DIY-Home-Sweet-Home-Project/152983384746152
I totally agree with what you said - "A little bit of paint will make anything pretty." As far as I can remember, the last thing that I painted was my bedroom wall and that was about it. Painting appliances, cement floors, and a floor mat are a pretty good idea to spruce up a room. Tristan German
