Michaels Dream Tree Challenge {Sneek Peek}

Shhh...
I've been keeping a secret and it has been driving me crazy!
But now it's time to finally let the cat out of the bag and let you all see what I have been up to for the past couple weeks.

I was asked to participate in
Michaels 2nd Annual Dream Tree Challenge!!!!

Of course I said YES!!!

Micheals sent me a 7 foot pre-lit Christmas tree along with a $500 Micheals gift card to spend on decorations.
Did you know Michaels has a large selection of pre-lit high-tip count artificial trees ranging in size from 4 ft. to 7.5 ft. and all the way up to 9 ft. They even come in different shapes, from skinny to full and in-between with some smaller trees coming in different color options.
Each tree purchased at Michaels comes with a 5 year tree warranty and a 2 year warranty on the light. Be sure to stop by your local Michaels November 3 through November 9 for a special tree event

This is the first isle I noticed when I walked into Micheals.
For anyone who wants a completely personalized tree, this is he perfect isle. Any one of these ornaments can be painted or covered in glitter to match your own Christmas decor.

Another isle that I fell in love with was this one...
Although most of these items were to be used as decorations around the house and not to be hung on the Christmas tree. However, I just loved the simplicity of everything in this isle.

Micheals really had something for everyone. Whether you are more into traditional decor, are looking for a pop of color, or just want to go all out with the glitter (I'm not sure you can celebrate Christmas without glitter. Can you?)

I also encourage all you DIY gals to think outside the box and check out the rest of the store.
 I found some amazing items in the wood section and my daughter totally fell in love with these 'Glitter Eyelash' yarns by Martha Stewart. (I love the look of tinsel but hate the mess. I think I may have just discovered a happy alternative!!)

I'm so exited about this project and I can't wait to show you all my finished tree!! Check back November 1st for my Christmas Tree reveal!!
